“The reason I am doing this is because there is a huge need out there and from what I’ve seen, the giftings I’ve got, and the doors that the Lord has opened for me, this is the perfect opportunity to blend ministry with business. And it’s going to impact individual’s lives; it’s going to impact families, marriages, and the community in whole.”

Profiles

Dennis Mansfield

Founder, Executive Director
A long time businessman and community leader, Dennis became involved in drug and alcohol rehab as a result of a family member's addiction that lead to further substance abuse, and ultimately, incarceration. Dennis is passionate about recovery. He has set his energies on providing effective, market-place, Christ-centered answers to issues of social justice – focusing on prison aftercare, treatment, housing and behavior change. He is married and has two adult children, one child in High School, and a grandson.

Mac Mayer

Chief Executive Officer/ Chief Financial Officer
For over thirty years Mac has been involved in many successful businesses. Through a family member being arrested due to drug addiction, Mac began volunteering with the “Band of Brothers” jail ministry. From that perspective, he was able to see the need for an effective, reproducible and simple business plan to help ex-inmates transition into the world of freedom. His plan became the business model for New Hope’s success. Mac and his wife have a wonderful family of kids and grand kids that help motivate him towards helping others.
